TRADITIONAL YANG STYLE
TAI CHI CHUAN Tai chi chuan is a
slow, graceful, rhythmic exercise which promotes good health, and over
time may be developed as a system of self defense. Thus, it is
considered as a moving meditation as well as a powerful martial art.
The practice of Tai Chi Chuan restores the balance between the physical,
emotional, and the mental through relaxation. The repitition of the slow
movements improves circulation and creates an agile body, pacifies the
emotions, and creates an alert and serene mind. This is particular
important as we age.
After performing Tai Chi Chuan, one feels a sense of well-being, not
fatigue.
